Citizens of Nampa, - 2009/10/18 07:38 Dear Citizens of Nampa] [/size]I want you to know that while the Mayoral race is non-partisan, that I am for you. When it comes to business I lean towards the Republican Party ideals and lean towards the Democratic Party on equality issues. It would be fair to say that philosophy not only makes me a middle of the road candidate, it keeps things fair for all of you. While I am a Christian i.e. attended Jackson First Church of the Nazarene while growing up, and Christ Lutheran Church in Lansing, MI. before moving West , if you are of any other faith or have none at all helping you the Citizens of Nampa is first and foremost (although the Lord will help me do that). In 1992 I helped George Bush in the Presidential Debates at Michigan State University when he was running against Bill Clinton and Ross Perot. In 2004 I helped John Kerry by manning booths at county fairs and other events. I'm telling you this because you need to know that I am non-partisan. I ran as a Democrat in Michigan and as a Republican Precinct Delegate. Ronald Reagan and John Kennedy were two of my most favorite Presidents. I promise that as your mayor I will not try to push anything that you do not want. My main agenda will be jobs and transportation in that order. I believe in preserving your freedom, the 2nd amendment, and lower taxes. I will not force high taxes on you, in my administration tax proposals will always be placed on the ballot. When this race gains momentum you'll see that I run a clean campaign. Finding fault with my competitors is not the way to win an election. I will say this: If you want a well rounded mayor in both education and experience,I am that person. My degree was interdisciplinary humanities at Michigan State University and included all religions, political science, history,English, literature, psychology, management, leadership, and art history. In business I dealt with people from all walks in life. Even though I am labeled as transgender I am for women and men equally as I know issues on both sides. I also promise that when elected I will never, I repeat never, do anything to embarrass the office of Nampa mayor or its citizens like some politicians have in other cities and states.I love Nampa and want you to love it as much as I do. Give me your vote, and together we can redevelop City Hall, and make Nampa the successful, friendly, and proud community it deserves! Give me my dream and my chance by electing me and I will use every ounce of my energy to make Nampa shine and be number one in Idaho, that is my sincere promise to you!!!
